Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership Seminar
I was nominated by Legend High School to attend the three day HOBY leadership conference at the University of Denver. Their main mission is to inspire and develop our global community of youth and volunteers to a life dedicated to leadership, service, and innovation. For more than five decades, HOBY has inspired young people to make a difference and become catalysts for positive change in their home, school, workplace, and community.
Student Advisory Group Recognition
My sophomore and junior year I was selected to be a member of the Student Advisory Group (SAG) for Douglas County School District, which is the 3rd largest district in the state of Colorado. SAG provides an opportunity for the Board and District personnel to have a focus group of high school students who express what they think is important regarding their education.
